Every time I ask my girlfriend what we should grow next I always get the same answer Mazar, its easy to grow and I have got an average of 100 grams a plant every time I have grown it in coco. The taste is deep rich and earthy and the high is fantastic and long lasting. In our humble opinion it is Dutch Passions finest. In fact I have just put some more on an hour ago.

Smoking some Mazar at the moment and it is some high grade bud that is for sure.
I can not get enough of the high from her and she keeps giving the more you smoke.
Very vigorous plants which were nice, compact and easy to grow! They needed moderate and did not stretch much.
She is currently one of my favourite strains and a great one to grow.

Man this is a STRONG weed, and full of flavour. After I grew her I noticed she became noticably stronger after a 3 week cure. She gives a great stoney high with no paranoid edge to it which is a bit like Blueberry. Yields were well above average and some pheno's are XL yielders so watch out for a keeper.
One thing that I should mention (no-one else did) is that this weed stinks like hell. My normal tupperware stash box seals the aroma of weed inside it. But not Mazar! This weed is so strong it stunk like hell even when sealed inside the container. So I put the container in a sealable food storage bag and she still stank. So I put another sealable bag around it and it still stank! Then I put the whole lot in a larger tupperware container and that just about keeps the aroma inside. But you can still smell a faint rich-coffee type of smell, if you concentrate.
Great weed, great flavours and aroma. I totally recommend this variety but the only thing I would warn people about is to store your stash under several layers of containment as it is an old-school stinker. I have only come across one other variety with this ability for the smell to permeate a sealed container and that was the Dutch Passion White Widow (which was also a top top smoke)
Ja , top quality weed. Oily, resinous and super strong, Just dont think you can wander around with a joint of this stuff in your pocket cos everyone will be able to smell it.

yeah this is a very strong smoke but what the others didnt say is that this is easy to grow too. Thats got to be one of the reasons why Mazar is such a popular one - everyone can grow it. Or not?
It is super strong weed, and it lasts for a long time on the shelf if you cure it well. People that grow their own weed and cant be bothered giving it a good cure shouldn't bother growing decent varieties IMO. Go and grow some bag seed instead.
So props to those dutch boys for this one ;-)
I grew this one a few times and no problems with her. She is a medium high strain and I agree she does smell a bit but so do all weed so you cant let that put you off. The bud is hard and sticky which is perfect combination for me. Mazar is a quality quality smoke and easy to grow - dont forget that yo

Mazar is one of the consistent varieties for me and I have grown twice a year ever since the 1990s. I grow Mazar every couple of years and she is always the same. You can taste the quality from the first smoke and you know she is a strong one.
I get my seeds from the headshop near the Bulldog cafe in Amsterdam as they get fresh stock direct from Dutch Passion
The plants are packed with bud by the end of flowering but they also smell quite a bit so take precautions. Thats the only problem for me, I have to take them out of the veg cabinet when they start smelling cos I have no carbon filter there.
But apart from that you cant go wrong. Once again, watch out it is a strong one to smoke. But reliable also

If you want a really strong Afghani that will slap you back onto the sofa then this is the strain to go for. Mazar is easy to grow and has heavy bud production. One of the local Mazar growers uses it as a medical weed and swears by it. Great for indoor grows and easy enough for noobs too. DP, don't change your Mazar, it is great as it is. Karl
